The “strength” of our hand is something our opponents are trying to get a read on. Some opponents are more keen and aware of our actions than others. We must become conscious of who is sitting at our table, and how they are playing against us in every situation. Every poker player has a unique style and approach to the game. While many opponents share similar tendencies, no two poker.
Professional’s will tell you to play less hands and the less (but better) hand’s that you play will give you more money for your value. There are a few way’s to determine these values. In our 3rd Party Poker Software Program section there are several programs that help determine your odd’s of winning but these charts let you know how much money you can expect to win by playing a hand.
Hand Strength In the hand strength panel, the hand of the player is compared to the ranges of the opponents. The scale of 'showdown strength' and 'betting strength' goes from 0.0 to 2.0, independently of the number of players still in the pot.Those 46 hands have been separated into 8 groups named Group A to H. Group A are the strongest hands in poker based on the statistics and group H are the weakest hands that we are willing to play. Of course there are many more hand combinations weaker than the hands in Group H, but we are not interested in playing with these and they will be folded into the muck straight away.Everything from split pots to bets, new players and hand strength are all crystal clear as you play. The action buttons constantly adapt to the hand at play, and you’ll always know when there are inactive players at the table, so you can focus on the players in the game.
